Ms. Ribak must have loved a good jigsaw puzzle as a child! It is amazing to see how successful she was! Well done!

Fantastic Video. Fantastic Finds! Fantastic Discoveries! So exciting to see this treasure trove of pottery from the Byzantine period coming back to life. This of course shows that this area was in common use during the Byzantine period. And even more exciting is that you are now closing in on the highly prized and sought after First Temple period. That Golden Era we read so much about in the Bible. Keep Seeking and Finding and Opening. Looks like you have an open door to these important treasures and trophies of the past that have laid there sleeping for THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of years. Wow! It must be hard to sleep at night when you are finding these kinds of things.

There is nothing quite like the genuine article, something you not only can see and touch (carefully, if allowed) but, also get an idea how the items were used in everyday life during the period.

I appreciate you taking us through the process. Pretty tedious work … like working puzzles. Hopefully that little woman has a helper! 🙂

Thank you for sharing this side of the dig!! I took pottery for 4 years and is a passion of mine! What a fun puzzle to put it back together as I have only created new pieces of work.

Thank You Ruth and Dr. Mazar for all your hard work!
